By using WalkupHire's SMS service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
WalkupHire provides an SMS-based platform that allows employers to create, manage, and publish job postings via text message. Our service includes:
- Two-way SMS communication with our AI system
- Job posting creation, editing, and deletion via text commands
- Public display of your job listings on walkuphire.com
- Automated confirmations and notifications
3. Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to hire employees or post jobs on behalf of a business
- Operating a legitimate business in the United States
4. Account Registration
To use our service, you must:
- Provide accurate business information (business name, email, location)
- Maintain a valid phone number for SMS communication
- Keep your account information current
- Not share your account access with unauthorized parties
5. SMS Terms and Conditions
By subscribing to our SMS service, you agree to:
- Receive automated text messages including job confirmations, updates, and service notifications
- Standard message and data rates apply - You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier
- Consent is not required for purchase - Opting in is voluntary, and you may opt out at any time
- Message frequency varies based on your activity creating and managing job postings
Opt-Out: Text STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You'll receive a confirmation that you've been unsubscribed.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use our service to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
- Advertise illegal activities or discriminatory employment practices
- Post spam, advertisements unrelated to legitimate job opportunities
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Violate any local, state, or federal laws
- Post jobs requiring illegal activities or violating labor laws
- Collect personal information from job seekers for unauthorized purposes
7. Job Posting Guidelines
All job postings must:
- Be for legitimate employment opportunities
- Comply with equal employment opportunity laws (no discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, etc.)
- Include accurate compensation and job details
- Not contain explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Comply with minimum wage and labor laws
8. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Review, edit, or remove any job posting that violates these terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies
- Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
9. No Warranties
Our service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That job postings will result in successful hires
- The quality or suitability of applicants
- That SMS messages will always be delivered
10. Limitation of Liability
WalkupHire is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Employment disputes arising from your job postings
- Actions or conduct of job seekers or third parties
- Mobile carrier charges or SMS delivery failures
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if no payments were made).
11. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The content of your job postings
- Compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Your hiring decisions and employment practices
- Verifying applicant qualifications and conducting background checks
- Any employment relationships formed through our platform
12. Fees and Billing
Our SMS service is currently provided at no charge to employers. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with 30 days' notice to active users.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by texting STOP or emailing support@walkuphire.com. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination:
- Your active job postings will be removed within 24 hours
- You will no longer receive SMS messages from us
- Your account data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via SMS or email to active users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Monroe County, Indiana.
16. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes by contacting us at support@walkuphire.com. We'll work in good faith to resolve the issue within 30 days.
17. Compliance with Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
We comply with the TCPA and all applicable SMS regulations. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from WalkupHire. This consent is not required to use our website or services, and you may opt out at any time.
18. Intellectual Property
The WalkupHire name, logo, and service are owned by WalkupHire LLC. You retain ownership of your job posting content but grant us a license to display it on our platform.
19. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
By using WalkupHire's SMS service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
