Open the map. Every pin is a business hiring near you. Zoom to your part of town, or search a role, a business, or a word like "weekends".

Tap a pin. You'll see the role, the pay, the schedule, what the work involves, and how the business wants to hear from you.

Apply the way the business prefers. Some link to their own application page. Many small businesses would rather you walk in and ask for the manager, and the listing says so when that's welcome.

Where the listings come from

Two places. Businesses post directly by texting or emailing Amy, our AI listing agent, and the listing is on the map within minutes. And we collect openings that local businesses post on their own websites, so local jobs are in one place instead of scattered across dozens of sites. Every collected listing links back to the business's own page.

Every listing is re-checked against the business’s own page every 3 days and taken down when it closes. If something looks wrong or out of date, email support@walkuphire.com and a person will fix it.

For businesses

If you hire in the Bloomington area, WalkupHire is free for you too, permanently. There's no dashboard: you text or email Amy what you need, and she posts it, edits it, or takes it down.

Found your jobs here without posting them? We collected them from your own website. Text or email Amy and, after a quick confirmation that you're with the business, she'll hand you control of the listing or take it down. Whichever you'd rather.

Who's behind it

WalkupHire is a small, independent project run by WalkupHire LLC, a Bloomington company with no outside owners or investors. It is not a job board company, a staffing agency, or part of any employer. It has no ads and no fees on either side. Amy, the AI listing agent, handles texts and emails with businesses and will tell you she's an AI if you ask. A person reads everything sent to support@walkuphire.com.

Privacy

We don't ask you for an account, a résumé, or an email address to use the map, and we don't track you across other sites. We do keep records of how the site is used — which pages get opened, how long they stay on screen, which links get tapped, and the words typed into the map's search box, because a search that finds nothing tells us what's missing. None of it is linked to you: no account, no cookie from us, nothing that connects one visit to another. The map only asks for your location if you tap the locate button, and that never reaches us.
